Happy birthday #Suhasini Maniratnam

Suhasini was born to actor Charuhasan, at Chennai in the prominent Haasan family. She got married to film director Mani Ratnam in 1988 and the couple has a son Nandan born in 1991.

Suhasini Maniratnam is an actress known for her works in South Indian cinema. She made her film debut in 1980 with the Tamil film Nenjathai Killathe for which she won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. Suhasini has won the National Film Award for Best Actress for Sindhu Bhairavi in 1986.She has received five Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada,one Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu, Two Kerala State Film Awards, and has garnered state awards like, Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, Nandi Awards.
